For breakfast today I had eggs and toast. When making the eggs, I forgot to check how long the bread was in the toaster and I ended up burning it. Usually, I would have not even thought twice, and thrown out the burnt toast in order to make more. I wouldn’t even think about doing that anymore. So breakfast consisted of eggs and burnt toast. Lunch was a banana and peanut butter sandwich and dinner was chicken, green beans and whole wheat pasta… again. I originally thought that buying as much chicken as I did was a necessity. Now, I wish I had bought less chicken and a different form of protein instead, to add more variety to my meals. After dinner, I had another banana and peanut butter as a snack. I’m very thankful that I bought as many bananas as I did, because they were very cheap and they are helping me increase my caloric intake to a healthier level. Additionally, my potassium levels are consistently low, and they would be worse without them.
